Connecting with Your Coach in V1 GOLF

Step by step of how to connect with your coach in the V1 GOLF app

Applies to: People who were invited to connect with their coach in the V1 GOLF app for the first time. Please ensure you use the same email to sign up for the app as your coach uses to communicate with you.


Step 1 - Download and open the V1 GOLF app

Download the V1 GOLF App from the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Android) on your mobile device or tablet.

Once the app is downloaded on your device, tap the app icon to open the app.

Step 2 - Sign up or Sign in to the V1 GOLF app

Click Sign Up if you're a new user (enter your first name, last name, email address and create a password) or Sign In if you’ve previously created an account.

If you’ve forgotten your password, click Forgot Password? and enter your email. This will send you a password reset link.

*Make sure you Sign-Up/In with the same email address your Coach has on file for you!


Step 3 - Accept Invite from your Academy/Coach

  1. Click on the People icon in the bottom navigation menu

  2. Click the checkmark icon to confirm the invitation from your coach.

    1. If you click the x icon, you'll need to connect with your coach manually.

  3. The screen will refresh, confirming you are now connected to your coach.

*You are no longer able to add a coach manually. Please ask your coach to send you an invitation or contact support for more help in-app.

Step 4 - View your Lessons and Videos

  1. Click the Home icon in the bottom navigation menu

  2. Locate My Videos, My Sessions or My Lessons and select View All

  3. Select Lesson or Video from list, click Play.

Step 5 - Capture & Send Video to your Coach (optional)

  1. Click the Camera icon in the bottom navigation menu to open the capture screen

  2. Click the red capture button to start and stop the camera (recommend capturing one motion at a time). You can continue capturing video from this screen. Your previously captured videos are saved automatically.

  3. Once you’ve finished capturing the video(s), click the Thumbnail in the bottom left corner. This will open your Session. Click on the Ellipsis icon (...) to open the menu on the video you want to send. Select Send to Coach

  4. Look for confirmation that the video was sent successfully on the bottom of your screen.

  5. When done, select Save and Exit Sessions. This will upload your videos to the cloud automatically for storage.

Tip: Change the name of your video prior to sending to Coach. This will help you find it more easily in the future. Click on the ellipsis icon (...) to open the menu on the video you want to edit. Select the Edit Video Name option. Rename the video and Save.
