This support article serves app versions 2.4.3 or earlier. If you have app version 2.4.3 or earlier, please update to the new version of V1 Golf by visiting your app store!

If you're a user with app version 3.0 or greater, please go here for support.

iPhone Users:

  1. On the Swings tab each video will have a phone icon and a cloud icon displayed. If the phone icon is green, the video is only stored on your phone. If the cloud icon is blue, the video is stored on your phone and in the cloud. We recommend backing up all the videos you want to save to the cloud for storage.

  2. To send videos to the cloud, click the ellipsis or three dot icon and choose Save to Cloud.

  3. The backup will process and you'll get an "Upload was successful" confirmation. When you return to the Swings tab, the cloud icon next to that video will be blue, confirming it is backed up to the cloud.

Android Users:

To save a video to the cloud on an android device you must send the video to your “Locker”. This will mean it is remotely accessible if you update your app or change devices. We recommend backing up all the videos you want to save to the cloud for storage.

  1. Select the video you would like to save to the cloud and press the “Send” option on the displayed menu.

  2. Select any instructor from the “Choose an Academy ” list. For this example, we chose the V1 Golf Academy. If you don't work with an instructor already, please use the V1 Golf Academy.

  3. Select “Send to Locker Only” when choosing an instructor from the academy. This should be the first option.

  4. The backup will process and save to your locker, effectively saving it to the cloud.
