As there are thousands of cameras and camcorders that work to some degree, this is a difficult question. The question you want answered is how expensive is good enough?
You need a shutter speed of 1/2000.
You want at least 30 frames per second.
It is preferable to have a global shutter as opposed to a rolling shutter.
You would prefer high definition, with wide screen. You should consider H.264 or MP4 video.
You want it to be in focus. You'd be surprised how many fairly expensive cameras have a problem focusing.
Will you be recording outside where there might be lots of light or inside where the light will be not so good?
You want an easy connection. You might want to have live streaming video as opposed to recording to camera's internal memory and copying it to PC.
 Wireless is a consideration.
 All ;have costs and benefits.
