Settings

V1 Golf for Android includes many settings that will improve your experience.

Notify Service
This setting allows you to enable or disable the background notification services. Only available on Android 2.1 because Android 2.2 receive push notifications.

Notification Settings
This setting allows you to change the frequency of which the notification service checks for updates. Only available on Android 2.1 because Android 2.2 receive push notifications.

Trimming Method
This setting allows you to override V1 Golf for Android's trimming selection methods. Use this if your device is unable to correctly trim using the default 'Playback' method.

Disable Touch Delete
This setting disables the 'double-tap' and the 'shake' function, to remove lines. When using the various Analyzer video controls, users may accidentally double-tap or shake their devices. This ensures no accidental deletions. You can still delete lines by touching the MENU key and selecting 'Undo Line' or 'Erase Lines', within the Analyzer.

Disable Back Button
This setting disables the Back button within the Analyzer. This is especially helpful for tablets, where users accidentally hit the Back button when using the Analyzer controls.

Auto-Hide Controls
This setting will cause the Analyzer controls to hide when Play is pressed. Touching the screen will cause the controls to return and, 5 seconds later, they will disappear again.

Use Camcorder App
This setting allows you to disable V1 Golf for Android's Native Capture and use your device's default Camcorder app for video capture.

Use Range Mode
This setting enables "Range Mode".

Skip Trimming
This setting skips the trimming option and automatically encodes the entire length of captured video.

Flash Capture Notify
This setting turns on V1 Golf for Android's Native Capture's ability to flash your device's flash when capturing begins.

Skip Trimming
This setting skips the trimming option and automatically encodes the entire length of captured video.

Remember Timer Setting
This setting stores the most recently used timer setting, eliminating the need to set the Timer each time you capture video.

Recording Time
This setting allows you to set how long the Native Capture allows you to capture video.

Scan For Bluetooth Device
This setting begins your device's Bluetooth pairing process. It will also display currently paired devices. Once the scan for new devices is completed, touching any found devices attempts to pair your Bluetooth device with your Android device. You may have to input a code when pairing. (often this code is '0000')

Use Internal Storage
This setting allows you to select the Internal Storage for devices that have storage in addition to an SD card.

Capture Save Location
This setting allows you to manually set your device's captured video save location. When new phones are released, V1 Golf for Android may not know where to check for the captured video. Using this setting allows you to set your directory so V1 Golf for Android is able to successfully analyze your videos.

Clear Saved Data
This allows you to remove all downloaded videos, thumbnails, and settings from V1 Golf for Android, returning it to its 'just installed' state.

Sync Videos
This allows you to access videos either on your SD card or on your internal storage, if they are not currently visible. When changing from SD card storage to Internal Storage, or vice versa, using the 'Use Internal Storage' setting, you will lose access to your currently stored videos. This setting allows you to regain access.

Log In/Log Out
This allows you to either log in or log out, depending on your current state. When logged in, the Log Out setting also shows your currently logged in email address.
