Thanks for connecting with Craig Hanson in the V1 GOLF app. Using the app will allow you to store your swing videos in one spot, and easily send them to Craig for analysis.
When Craig creates a lesson for you, you'll be able to watch it as often as you'd like in-app (or screencast to a larger device if you prefer for viewing). You'll also be able to directly message Craig, see his in-app store, and view any drills or other content he sends you.
There is a FREE tier of the V1 GOLF app available to use. There are also two paid tiers called V1 GOLF+ and Advanced V1sion. If you'd like to upgrade to access the analyzer tools and full content library, you may do so at any time.
Step 1 - Download and open the V1 GOLF app
Download the V1 GOLF App from the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Android) on your mobile device or tablet.
Once the app is downloaded on your device, tap the app icon to open the app.
Step 2 - Sign up or Sign in to the V1 GOLF app
Click Sign Up if you're a new user (enter your first name, last name, email address and create a password) or Sign In if you’ve previously created an account.
If you’ve forgotten your password, click Forgot Password? and enter your email. This will send you a password reset link.
*Make sure you Sign-Up/In with the same email address Craig has on file for you! If you do not see an invitation from Craig, the most common reason is the email doesn't match. Contact our support team in-app for quick help.
Step 3 - Accept Invite from Craig Hanson
Click on the People icon in the bottom navigation menu
Click the checkmark icon to confirm the invitation from Craig. The screen will refresh, confirming you are now connected to Craig in-app.
*If you do not see an invitation from Craig, the most common reason is the email doesn't match. Contact our support team in-app for quick help.
Step 4 - View your Lessons and Videos
Click the Home icon in the bottom navigation menu
Locate My Videos, My Sessions or My Lessons and select View All
Select Lesson or Video from list, click Play.
Step 5 - Capture & Send Video to Craig
Click the Camera icon in the bottom navigation menu to open the capture screen.
If you prefer to import a video, select Import from this screen.
Click the red capture button to start and stop the camera (recommend capturing one motion at a time). You can continue capturing video from this screen. Your previously captured videos are saved automatically.
Once you’ve finished capturing the video(s), click the Thumbnail in the bottom left corner. This will open your Session. Click on the Ellipsis icon (...) to open the menu on the video you want to send. Select Send to Coach
Look for confirmation that the video was sent successfully on the bottom of your screen.
When done, select Save and Exit Sessions. This will upload your videos to the cloud automatically for storage.
Tip: Change the name of your video prior to sending it. This will help you find it more easily in the future. Click on the ellipsis icon (...) to open the menu on the video you want to edit. Select the Edit Video Name option. Rename the video and Save.
Step 6 - Chat with Craig Hanson
Click on the chat bubble icon in your bottom menu.
Select the message from Craig to open and read.
Type a response, and press send!
*In your phone settings, enable notifications from V1 GOLF to get a ping when Craig responds to your message.
