iOS Device Permissions
Camera Roll
Allows you to import videos from your device into the app.
Used when uploading an existing swing video
Required for accessing your saved media
Camera
Allows you to record new videos directly within the app.
Used for capturing swing videos
Required for live video recording
Microphone
Allows the app to detect sound during lesson recording.
Enables sound capture
Required for creating lessons and for voice-activated recording
Speech Recognition (iOS only)
Allows the app to interpret voice commands.
Works with microphone access
Required for voice-activated recording
How to Enable Permissions on iOS
If you denied permissions during setup, you can enable them manually:
Open your device Settings (not V1 COACH app settings)
Tap on Apps
Scroll down and tap on V1 COACH
Enable the required permissions
Android Permissions
Photos / Media (Camera Roll)
Allows you to import videos from your device.
Used when selecting an existing video
Required for accessing local media files
Microphone
Allows the app to detect sound during lesson recording.
Enables sound capture
Required for creating lessons
Camera
Allows you to record new videos within the app.
Used for capturing swing footage

Open device Settings (not V1 COACH app settings)
Tap Apps
Select V1 COACH
Tap Permissions
